1. Comfortability
The most authentic video happens when we’re more than just videographer and client—we’re friends! Once you book me, we’ll start connecting right away through texts, Zoom calls, and getting to know each other better. If you are not in my home state of Oklahoma, I’ll even fly out a day before your wedding or elopement so we can meet in person before the big day. This gives us a chance to get comfortable with each other, so when it’s time for video, you can just be yourselves. That’s when the magic happens!
2. Camaraderie
Before I even hit record, I make sure to jump on a call with your photographer—we’ve gotta be in sync like peanut butter and jelly! I want us to feel totally comfortable and on the same page so we can tag-team your day without stepping on each other’s toes. When the photographer and videographer work with each other instead of doing their own thing, it makes the whole experience way smoother (and way more fun for you!). I even pack snacks for the photo crew, because a well fed crew is one of the secret ingredients to the best wedding film.
3. Consistency
I’m all about creating a wedding film that’s authentic, full of feeling, and totally timeless—something you’ll want to rewatch on your 1st anniversary, your 10th, and yep, even your 50th (cue the tissues!). My goal is to bottle up all those emotions so every time you press play, it hits you right in the feels. And don’t worry—I’ve got you covered with an included revision process so we can tweak, polish, and perfect every moment until your film feels just right—like your favorite rom-com, but starring you two.
